3D Art studies
Hello There - Kenobi
Scene based on Star Wars and character style inspired by Ivan. I decided to recreate the scene from the third movie, experimenting with textures and simple geometry for the characters. I’ve tried to emulate the lights and tone from the original film. Overall, I was glad about the result.
Hello There - Grievous
As part of the challenge, both characters had to have simple geometry. So I had to be mindful of their aesthetics so they could be part of the same universe, keeping the same style for both.
Battle of Hoth Scene
The first piece based on Star Wars of a series of exercises. I choose to represent the Battle of Hoth, an iconic part of the fifth movie. It was a three-day project that I enjoyed working on, exploring new technics to light the scene and achieve a good result.
Perseverance Landing at Dune
The main idea of this piece was to recreate a nocturnal scene with only three lights instead of an HDRI. The original exercise depictured a sheep being abducted by a UFO, but I thought it could also be a good challenge to make the Perseverance rover landing on Kerbal’s Mars, planet Dune.
Mushroom Scene
The goal for this scene was to recreate a macro shot of mushrooms and explore the many possibilities the program had to offer. Overall, I was pleased with the results.
Brazilian Dessert - Brigadeiro
The briefing was to create a scene with traditional Brazilian dessert using geometry nodes. As my first contact with the program, I was a little overwhelmed with all the information and the different approach to 3d modeling that I was used to. But in the end, I was impressed and satisfied with what I achieved.
